Get your spells ready. Ryan Murphy revealed on Twitter that the upcoming eighth season of the long-running FX anthology series will be a crossover event in which the worlds from Season 1 ("Murder House") and Season 3 ("Coven") will come together.
"The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won't be happening next year...because it's happening THIS YEAR".
According to Ryan Murphy, Season 8 of the FX anthology series will be a crossover between the show's first season, "Murder House", and the third season, "Coven". In 2013, Murphy introduced Coven.
As we left it, there were only three characters left alive at the end of Murder House; Sarah Paulson's Billie Dean Howard, the devil-spawn of Vivian Harmon and Tate Langdon, Michael and of course, the iconic Constance Langdon so it's anyone's guess as to who the season will centre around. She joined the show during "Coven" in the role of Madame Delphine LaLaurie.
- Evan Peters is playing a hairdresser and his grandmother will be played by Joan Collins. He added that it's "unlike anything we've done because there's a big hook to it" and teased "a huge thing that happens" in the fifth episode. "It's a very high concept".
"American Horror Story" fans better prepare themselves for the most ambitious season yet.
