Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra brought together two of the most talented and loved B-Town persons - Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, a duo which every Bollywood fan had imagined at least once. To this, Alia quickly responded, "What, Ranveer Singh, I have no linkup with Ranveer Singh, hahahah". "We are co-actors. We are working together in a handsome film called "Brahmastra" which will release next year".
She also said, "When I read the rumours of my patch-up and break-ups, I find it very amusing".
When at a recent press conference, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor was told about Alia having a huge crush on him, all he said was, "Well, I have a boy crush on her now".
Also, the star-studded event will be hosted by Johar and Riteish Deshmukh.
Alia has always been very vocal about her fondness for Ranbir and spoke at length about her first meeting with Ranbir on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan back in 2013. Alia was quoted as saying, "I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir". He had a fangirl moment with Ranbir, laughed crazily at one of his jokes, pouted like Karan Johar and many such things. And I spoke so much rubbish. "Just like me, there is glamorous Dia Mirza. then there is Shahid, who has been a friend of IFFA and a solid support throughout".
"Obviously, I have hung out with him after that, and I still think he is really adorable. As an actor, you always want to be a part of something as big as IIFA, whether to perform or host", Kartik said, who has recently entered the prestigious Rs 100 crore club with his movie "Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety". She retorted, "Everybody knows my plans. I'm very open about it except to Ranbir". "I am looking forward", he said. "I'd definitely be there", he said. She concluded that she hasn't seen much people like Ranbir ever since she has been alive. Shahid Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, of course, will be the key attractions. We can't wait more for them to clarify the status of their alleged relationship.
