For the candidates battling for congressional seats, they will all be chosen, for the first time, based on a new congressional map that the state Supreme Court said corrects GOP gerrymandering.

Wagner defeated health care executive Paul Mango and attorney Laura Ellsworth to win the nomination with more than 45 percent of the vote with approximately 95 percent of the precincts reporting. After he watched ABC27's GOP gubernatorial debate, he became a supporter. I would suggest I am the only conservative candidate in this race.
Political analyst and pollster Dr. Terry Madonna says the bitter ad war between Mango and Wagner may leave the GOP with a battered nominee.
The Braddock mayor's victory means he will run on a ticket with Gov. Tom Wolf in the fall.
"It's unbelievable how negative they are and what that tends to do is to drive up what we call "the negatives" of a candidate", Madonna said.
Ellsworth struck the same note a Mango in her speech, saying the party needs to work together to defeat Gov. Wolf.

Wagner, a waste-hauling millionaire, fashions himself as a garbage man coming to clean up a state government that chokes the economy with regulations and taxes. Scott Wagner secured his party's nomination for a spot on the ballot in November. "Our job now is not only to unite the rest of the Republican Party, but also to rally all Pennsylvanians behind our cause".
Wolf was uncontested in the primary, while Fetterman won the nomination among a field of five candidates.
While Ellsworth is making multiple stops on her way back west, both Mango and Wagner are planning events in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Scranton and Harrisburg Monday.
Casey is among 10 Democratic senators seeking re-election this year in states won by Trump, making Casey a target for Republicans.
