In a moment of fury, another client started recording with her cellphone and later published the video with the message: "Just experience what America is becoming!"
The video was posted to Facebook by Edward Suazo. He's speaking it, she's speaking it.
"They were speaking Spanish because they are friends".
After other customers laugh at his antics and taunt him, with one telling him he's "fucked up", the angry man becomes even angrier.
"Yeah, it is America!" one person exclaims. Someone else says, "He's very ignorant".
The man then threatened to call immigration agents. He threatened to notify the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) "to have each one of them kicked out of my country". If they have the balls to come here and live off my money?
Maybe you should get hit by a vehicle you piece of shit. "Take a break from the food", the man says before walking away, to which the woman responds, "Maybe you should get hit by a vehicle, you piece of [expletive]!"
Journalist Shaun King tweeted Wednesday morning some of the man's former classmates had identified him as NYC attorney Aaron M. Schlossberg.
"Aaron Schlossberg" was the fifth ranked trending topic on Twitter in the NY area Wednesday evening.
But this is actually the most terrifying aspect of this video - ICE is so bereft of oversight under this regime of knuckledraggers, that it's entirely likely that some DHS brown shirts would descend on Fresh Kitchen and detain the whole salad department for three weeks before figuring out they're all third generation Brooklynites.
"Honey, I'm calling ICE", the man said as he whipped out his own phone and lunged closer to the camera.
Despite Spanish being widely spoken in the United States and around the world, some still take issue when someone speaks in the language of Cervantes.
