Lyon captain Nabil Fekir is a target for Liverpool this summer, a source has told ESPN FC.
Liverpool will accelerate talks with Lyon next week, once the small matter of the Champions League final is dealt with.
Fekir has always been regarded as one of the most exciting talents in world football, and seems to have had his career back on track after recovering from a gruesome knee injury.
And, it can be argued that the added responsibility has spurred him on to better things, with Fekir enjoying his most productive senior campaign.
Fekir impressed in Ligue 1 this term, scoring 23 goals in 40 appearances.

Liverpool dumped City out of the Champions League at the quarter-finals stage, but were easily outperformed by the Premier League champions domestically.
Fekir, 24, has a contract with Lyon running to 2019.
Fekir has been in fine form for Lyon this season, with the France global having netted 18 goals and made eight assists in 30 Ligue 1 games this term.
Even at the start of this week, Liverpool were at pains to stress there had been no contact with Lyon for the 24-year-old - a point backed up by the fact Lyon president Jean Michel Aulas indicated that Fekir wanted to remain in France. The France worldwide is aware of Liverpool's interest and, when asked about a possible transfer to Anfield by RTL replied: "Why not?"
