Android users are still divided over the notch.
In short and regarding the Glitter series in particular, you won't find a better Galaxy S9 case filled with such flashy liquid glint than what Casetify came up with.
According to the leaked patent application files from China, spotted by Mobilekopen.net, Samsung may embrace the notch on its smartphone lineup. Apparently, their listing hinted towards the Galaxy Note 9; however, it is confirmed now. Last year, South Korean site The Investor reported that Samsung was developing the Galaxy Note 9 under the codename "Crown".
This would be slightly earlier than previous years with Note devices usually being unveiled in August. For those who're not aware, Baikal is one of the largest lakes in Europe and Russian Federation.
The phone's specs certainly don't suggest distraction: it can TXT, make voice calls, take pictures (8MP front camera, 5MP rear) and not much else. They also protect all physical buttons of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus while simultaneously being thick enough to prevent the handsets' lenses from ever touching any surface while the phablets are laid down. It indicates that Samsung would adopt the iPhone X's expensive solution of bending the screen at the bottom edge to house the display driver underneath the panel.
Now the phone costs for around Rupees 21,437 or $185.
Samsung would prefer to eliminate bezels entirely.
Expect plenty more Note 9 rumours and leaks to be revealed in the coming weeks but it looks set to be one to watch out for.
15 April known insider Evan Blass announced the code name of one of the most anticipated mobile devices this year - Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
The Note 9 is expected to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack and the Bixby button.
This Note 9 battery news comes at a bad time for Samsung.
One of the big similarities is that both of them come with a Snapdragon 845 mobile platform - Qualcomm's latest chip which is built using ultra-efficient 10nm process. Also on offer is 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable via a microSD card.
Samsung's design team avoided ripping off the iPhone X's notch for the Galaxy S9, but that could be about to change. However, the dual camera as well as the S Pen will be improved. A battery of 4000 mAh will power it. The Note 9 could carry a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.
