I really adored the first Life is unusual game and it came as a complete surprise to me just how much I connected with that game in different ways not to mention really enjoying the timey whimey powers that main character Max suddenly discovered and the emotional roller-coaster that the story genuinely took me on. While "Life is Strange: Before the Storm" has reached the end of the line with the release of the "Farewell" episode, it will not be a long time before fans of the series will have new content from the franchise to chomp on.
Before the Storm's bonus episode doesn't feature the series' best writing or any pivotal choices, but it all works as intended here.
If you've followed Max and Chloe from the beginning of the Life is unusual story, you'll know how important it is to really see them play and get along together just like they did when they were growing up. "We want to thank the fans who have enjoyed this incredible journey with us, we know they will miss Chloe, Rachel and Max as much as we will". The "Farewell" episode brings us back to a special time in Chloe and Max's friendship, before everything seemed to fall apart. You can likely expect a heartfelt trip that will undoubtedly leave gamers once again playing through Before The Storm and Life are unusual. It's just a fond farewell to a friend. "The torch is being passed back to Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet's team at DONTNOD Entertainment, the creators of the original game who've been exclusively dedicated to creating the next Life is unusual for the past two years".
Of course, the digital copy of the game can be purchased today for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
From the looks of it, the right time they mentioned then is closer than fans think.
