The Oakland Raiders have been making a lot of moves as of late as new head coach Jon Gruden tries to mold his new-look roster.
Ndamukiong Suh is arguably the best player available in National Football League free agency, and he is going to visit the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Suh is expected to meet with the Raiders on Wednesday.
Veteran linebacker Bruce Irvin took to Twitter to send a message to Suh about his pending visit to Oakland.
If nothing else, the financial question for the Raiders is a fascinating one - as would be the fit if they're able to solve it. Suh's presence would help relieve pressure from Mack, whom offensive coordinators scheme to double and triple team over the course of a season.
Along with a high price tag, Suh also brings a fair amount of baggage to any team that ends up signing him. Though Suh is 31 years old, he is the model of availability, health and continued production at the position having started all 126 games that he has been available for while never suffering a significant injury and not missing a contest over the past six seasons between Detroit and the Dolphins.
The Raiders will have some competition from playoff-caliber teams in their pursuit of Suh. Since being released on Wednesday by the Miami Dolphins, he has visited the New Orleans Saints, the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams. They were unable to close on wide receiver Ryan Grant because it's believed the Indianapolis Colts offered him more money.
