Parker will arrive in London from his Las Vegas base on Saturday to prepare for the fight in which his WBO world title belt, and Joshua's IBF and WBA titles, will be on the line.
Ahead of his titanic unification fight against Joseph Parker in Cardiff, AJ has linked up with Under Armour to front their latest campaign, which focuses on the mental aspect of preparation.
Instead, the 28-year-old is fully focused on the challenge presented to him from Parker - who he will have to beat if he is to face Wilder later in 2018.
"When he [Parker] throws his shots with a left and a right, if the left don't hit you, the right catches you as you are moving in and knocks the majority of his opponents out".
Parker was born in New Zealand, although his parents originally hail from Samoa, and Joshua has drawn comparisons with his own background.
"He came here for a better future, so I know how that goes, and struggled, so I know how that goes".
"He's worked hard, and that's why I see him as one of the lions in the jungle".
"He says I've got a glass chin, I want to see if he's got the power to detonate on it".
"He got off the canvas to knock out former long-reigning heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko in 2017, and nearly had his nose split in half when Carlos Takam head-butted him in his most recent outing last October".
"Parker, like Joshua, is an unbeaten heavyweight".
"I can't sit here and talk as if I'm the hardest puncher, I'm the best athlete, and then go and fight Joe Bloggs that no-one has heard of, with 50 losses on his record", admitted Joshua.
Which fights has Anthony Joshua earned the most money from so far?
Parker said: "It's an exciting fight".
"I may not be as durable, but I can definitely take a punch, and get up and keep going, and get the win". He's a young champion.
The "Bronze Bomber" claimed he would be attending the fight between Joshua and Parker, with Sky Sports hiring him as a commentator.
"I'm going to expose him and his weaknesses".
