We all love a dupe, but it's better to be safe than sorry..
An Irish teenager had to be rushed to the hospital at the weekend after using a fake Kylie Jenner lip kit.
She applied the product before a night out with friends, but she began to feel unwell soon after and made a decision to stay in.
The Facebook seller responsible for flogging the £3 Kylie lip kit has since removed their listing, making it impossible for buyers to make a complaint.
When she woke the next morning her lips and lower face were completely swollen, her throat was closed up and she was finding it hard to breathe.
Her family immediately took her to A&E, where she was given strong antibiotic cream for her lips and antihistamines.
Speaking to Belfast Live, the young student said: "It was the scariest experience ever".
The young woman, of Belfast, had to go to the A&E at Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital after being left with badly blistered lips over the weekend.
"My blood pressure was very high as well".
Rachael's older sister Bronagh has urged anyone who has bought knock-off makeup to throw it out as they can't know what ingredients they might contain.
"This could have ended up with a fatality if not treated as soon as it was, this didn't just affect the lips but also the whole face and closed over the back of her throat", she said.
