If Blass's speculations are to believed, the ZenFone 5 Lite's front dual camera setup will be comprised of two 20MP sensors, while the setup at the back will include two 16MP sensors.
The ZenFone 5 is also rumored to be rocking an 18:9 display with FHD+ resolution, but it may be the better optimized, as it appears to run right up to the top of the device with an iPhone X-like cutout for the speaker and front camera. We already saw a possible leak a few days ago about one model in Asus' upcoming ZenFone 5 line, even though the ZenFone 4 family is still quite new, and now Evan Blass has shown off an image of the ZenFone 5 Lite over on Twitter. Asus has a tradition of launching at least three phones at a time, so the leaks surrounding the Zenfone 5 Lite may be legit. Earlier, the Asus Zenfone 5 leak had also suggested that Asus is going with an 18:9 aspect ratio with curved edges display.
Talking about the specs, as per the Geekbench results, the Zenfone 5 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. Well, the post doesn't exactly mention the ZenFone 5 name, but the hints are enough for us to make an educated guess. It's unclear if that means we should expect a pair of 16MP cams and a 20MP pair or modest 2MP sensors supporting 16 and 20MP primary snappers respectively.
The Asus MWC 2018 event is scheduled to take place on February 27.
Unfortunately, there is not much information on the other smartphones of the ZenFone 5 series. There could be a regular variant, a plus variant, and a selfie-centric variant.
