Like HTC's most recent phones, the U11 EYEs also comes with Edge Sense, a feature that lets user trigger actions and shortcuts by squeezing the frame of the phones. This EYEs device is similar, with the renders revealing dual front-facing cameras to the right of the speaker grill.
In fact it looks like HTC could be the first because in a tweet by Evan Blass, HTC is poised to announce a new smartphone in the form of the HTC U11 EYEs, a handset that is said to debut on the 15th of January.
In 2017, HTC was listed among the top-20 Taiwanese global brands after reaching a US$ 1.1 billion deal with Google. The upcoming phone has been leaked by the revered Evleaks along with the specifications and the highlights. They also show slim bezels all around and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
Under the hood, the U11 EYEs reportedly packs a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 652, a system-on-chip in big.LITTLE configuration with four high-performance ARM-A72 cores and four energy-efficient Cortex-A53 cores.
The HTC U11 EYEs is expected to be priced at 3,299 yuan and will be available in Black, Silver and Red colors.
The HTC U11 EYEs will be built around a 6-inch LCD3 screen of 1080x2160px resolution.
The U11 EYEs will launch with Android Nougat.
However, the phone is said to come in another variant which will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
The images Blass had leaked reveal a dual-selfie-camera setup and an 18:9 aspect ratio display on the phone, which makes it the company's second to come with the trendy feature. The availability of this smartphone is still not clear. The device is speculated to be backed up a large 3,930mAh battery for keeping the lights on.
