The Shinobu's Vow Hunter gauntlets are available for 23 shards. 44 Stand Asides leg armor for 23 Legendary Shards.
This weekend, players can spend 29 Legendary Shards on The Colony grenade launcher. This particular lineup of items is a tad unusual, however, as all four pieces of gear he has for sale are from the Curse of Osiris DLC, which is a situation we have not seen before (and means you'll need the DLC to buy much).
Xur has brought with him the Three of Coins to help you get more exotic drops as you play the game, and he's got something called the Fated Engram, which is guaranteed to give you an exotic weapon or armor piece that isn't now in your collection. Fast travel to Winding Cove and head straight up the canyon once you spawn in. You can only get one per account, once a week. If you like Skip Grenades, then Shinobu's Vow is for you.
Players can also buy Fated Engrams, which contain a new not-yet-obtained Exotic, for 97 Legendary Shards.
Screengrab via Destiny 2
I rate Grenade Launchers higher than most people in Destiny 2, so would recommend The Colony.
Shinobu's Vow makes a return from Destiny 1. Again, this is once of those exotics that you'll want to grab, just in case. Bungie is doing a pass over all exotic items to make sure they are each worth equipping.
Titans can pick up the MK. Hits with these abilities also recharge a portion of your melee energy. This is a decent exotic for Titans that like to charge into the fray, giving them just a little bit of extra survivability while sprinting, but it's not so notable that these should be selected over other, more worthwhile Titan exotics. So while they may be new for the sequel, series veterans will remember them well. It's a fun and effective weapon in the class, and if you don't know how to get the most out of them you really should put the time in to learn.
This week's Warlock armor is The Stag, a funky-looking deer helmet with long antlers. A single consumable costs 31 shards.
