The Nevada Independent reported new allegations by a lobbyist who said Democratic Rep. Ruben Kihuen on several occasions touched her thighs and buttocks while he was a state senator, and made repeated sexual advances during the course of the 2015 legislative session.
Earlier this week, a second woman came forward alleging that Kihuen made inappropriate sexual advances toward her.
She said he sent her a shirtless photo and asked her to sit on his lap.
For his part, Kihuen said he meant to "fully cooperate" with the ethics panel.
"During my ten years in the Legislature, I dated several different women".
Farenthold denied some of the allegations against him but has since apologized for language he admitted to using that he characterized as not appropriate. "Out of respect for their privacy, I won't discuss my communications or any other details of those relationships".
Additionally, the chairman of the House Democrats' campaign arm, Rep. She wrote after the first accuser came forward that "the young woman's documented account is convincing, and I commend her for the courage it took to come forward".
The allegations follow a string of similar cases to hit Congress in recent weeks, leading to the hasty resignation of Sen.
Lawmakers from both parties have recently been ensnared in allegations of sexual misconduct, prompting the committee to launch a sweeping probe this month of all House members and their staff. Al Franken, D-Minn., announced he would step down after he was accused of improper behavior by at least eight women and his support from fellow Democrats collapsed.
