Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen continued his Pro Bowl caliber season in Sunday's win over the Redskins in Washington.
BRIEFLY - Keenum threw two interceptions to Washington safety D.J. Swearinger, who was his teammate with the Houston Texans from 2013-14. If TV isn't the best route for you, some great options for streaming are out there like NFL Sunday Ticket, or Game Pass for replays.
That was until Swearinger stepped in for his first interception with the Redskins.
Already making eight regular-season appearances as a member of the Redskins thus far into the 2017-18 campaign, Grant has now hauled in 24 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings gave up almost double the 16.9 points they had allowed per game during the first half of the season.
On defense, the Redskins were held without a sack, snapping a streak of 32 consecutive regular-season games with a sack dating back to Week 10 of the 2015 season.
Kai Forbth's 53-yard field yard field goal was a huge kick, giving the Vikings a two-score lead late in the game. Hopefully he can keep that focus, intensity and aim the rest of the season.
"I was very, very jealous that I wasn't in it, " he said. "They were great and doing the Skol chant, and all that".
Know the rules. NFL players can now celebrate to the heart's content (sigh), but they can only use the football as a prop. Diggs used the goalpost as a prop on his tou1st-half touchdown reception. "But I'd have to say the leapfrog one (was better) because it didn't get us a 15-yard penalty".
"I didn't see them when they were sitting on the ground over there, but I did see Diggs jump on the goal post and we had a little discussion, " Zimmer said of Sunday's celebration.
The Vikings passing game has been mediocre over the last five weeks but broke out on Sunday. The coaching staff will definitely be talking about them this week at Winter Park.
