Britain's Rolls-Royce Holdings has announced that it will be expanding its partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading global IT firm, in order to accelerate its digital transformation strategy.
TCS, headquartered in Mumbai, will aim to help Rolls-Royce in this venture by improving its existing services and driving its development and growth using the TCS Connected Universe Platform - a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering that better enables the development and deployment of IoT applications.
"We are honored to facilitate the digital transformation of Rolls-Royce on our IoT platform and allow it to develop, deploy and unveil the products and services to the market quickly", ANI quoted TCS Chief Executive Rajesh Gopinathan as saying.
British Multinational Rolls Royce has partnered with Indian IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services to bolster its digital sphere for the customers in various industry verticals. "Organisations are increasingly building upon a digital foundation to transform their businesses, and TCS is actively guiding our customers to become increasingly more intelligent, automated and agile".

TCS has also recently opened a new customer delivery centre in Derby, UK, dedicated to servicing Rolls-Royce, and also will be supporting from its Global Delivery Centres Rolls-Royce sites across the UK, Germany, Nordics, Canada, Singapore and India.
