Two of Georgia's touchdowns came in the final 2:42 of the half. Chubb would be Georgia's leading rusher on his senior day, as he finished with 151 yards and two touchdowns.
Chubb surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the third time in his career, joining 1982 Heisman Trophy victor Herschel Walker as the only Georgia players to accomplish that feat.
Neither back has surpassed 16 carries in a game this season.
The Wildcats fall to 7-4 on the season with the loss. He shot down the sidelines 55 yards for the final blow. Michel finished the game with 12 carries for 87 yards.
Now all that stands in the way of Georgia and a likely spot in the College Football Playoff scenario is the SEC title game against Alabama or Auburn in December and a game against Georgia Tech Saturday in Atlanta. Linebacker Josh Allen and defensive end Denzil Ware have combined for 215 total tackles and 24 sacks across the past two years, Ware recording two sacks last week in earning SEC Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week.
Michel: In addition to the 37-yard touchdown run, Michel had scores from 8 and 4 yards out.
But then things went sideways. Late in the second quarter, Georgia then threw the ball three times in a row on first down, with the second completion going for a 27-yard touchdown from Jake Fromm to Javon Wims. The 27 yard TD play gives Georgia a 13-6 lead with 4:56 to go in the half.
Trailing 21-6, the Cats had a chance to get within striking distance on a series just before the break, but Tavin Richardson couldn't haul in the pass from Stephen Johnson on fourth-and-1. Running back Benny Snell did his part to try and keep the Wildcats in the game with 94 rushing yards and a touchdown. That picked up Georgia who marches 75 yards. The Wildcats weren't much of a challenge for the Bulldogs, but Snell did his part for Kentucky. The Bulldogs only needed six plays to swipe momentum back for good.
It was a disappointing loss, but Kentucky will regroup with a game against in-state rival Louisville set for next Saturday.
1 - Tackle behind the line of scrimmage for the United Kingdom defense in the game. In the final home game of their careers, Chubb and Michel went out with a bang on Senior Day between the hedges.
