The handset has gone on sales in India today via Moto Hub and exclusively on Flipkart (online). Motorola will start selling the device from Monday itself. Also, the volume control of all devices can be done separately. This phone from Motorola has got IP68 certification. The Moto X4 is being offered in 2 RAM/ROM variants.
Lenovo has also created a couple of accessories for the new Moto Tab. The display is a 5.2-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 (full HD) with 424 ppi pixel density and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.
The Moto X4 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 508 GPU, along with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The front-mounted fingerprint scanner also doubles up as a home button. This phone comes with a turbo power, through which the phone charges back up to 15 hours and charges up to 6 hours.
Loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat, the Moto X4 integrates with NFC, which helps you to perform transactions from within the smartphone via Android Pay or similar gateways. Motorola recently announced that the Moto X4 will receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of the year.
Talking about the rest of the features, this phone includes features like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The 12MP camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, while the 8MP sensor has f/2.2 aperture. It brings a host of features like ultra-wide angle shot, professional mode, depth detection and depth effects, selective Focus, selective Black & White (beta), background replacement (beta), spot colour, landmark/object recognition, scan barcodes/QR codes/Business cards, panorama mode, slo-motion video, best shot, beautification, and filters. For the front, the Moto X4 sports a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 lens and front LED flash along with a 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode. The cameras record 4K videos at 30 FPS.
