Adviser to the US President Ivanka Trump will lead the USA contingent to the summit, highlighting the theme of "Women First, Prosperity for All", and focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally.
In fact, more than 10 countries including Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Israel will be represented by an all-women delegation, the State Department said ahead of the GES which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.
The 8th edition of the Global GES will be held in Hyderabad (November 28-30).
Women will represent 52.5 per cent of entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters at this month's Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) that will be attended by US President's daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump, top global CEOs and academicians, Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh kant said today.
As many as 31.5 per cent of the entrepreneurs at the GES are 30 years old or younger.
"The youngest entrepreneur is 13 and the oldest is 84", he said.
The participants hail from 150 countries and territories across the world.
Approximately one third of the entrepreneurs are from the United States, one third from India and one third from other countries around the globe.
The summit will focus on four areas like energy and infrastructure, digital economy and financial technology, health and life sciences and media and entertainment.
The American entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem supporters come from 38 states in the USA, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
Indian entrepreneurs from the length and breadth of the country will join the GES and connect with entrepreneurs and investors from around the world.
During the summit, Ivanka will be staying at the Falaknuma Palace which has been spruced up for her arrival.
