The Coronation Street star has been spotted in Australia!
As the official line-up for the series was announced, the 33-year-old actress, who's best known for playing Fiz in Corrie, has said she will really miss her toddler son Albert while she's in the jungle, especially as he's about to turn three.
She said: "I lost my dad earlier this year and that was a big thing".
Dennis admitted it will be tough having no contact with his wife, saying: "My wife was a bit apprehensive at first but the children thought it would be good and so she thought it would be a great thing to have a go at".
"Other than leaving Albert, I don't have fears", McAlpine said, adding she will "give the trials a go" as she wants to see how she will cope.
A source told The Sun: "Toff wanted to be single for the jungle so she had no ties back at home".
I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here! starts at 9pm on Sunday, November 19, on ITV.
"I know Albert is going to have an awesome experience as he is coming to Australia with my husband and I. That will be lovely".
As to what her Coronation Street castmates will think of her taking part in I'm A Celeb, Jennie said: "They will be shocked as I am happy with my lot and everything is fine but I am looking forward to this challenge".
The ten celebrities heading into the Jungle for the new series include YouTuber Jack Maynardm Made In Chelsea's Georgia "Toff" Toffolo and Chelsea and England footballer Dennis Wise. "It's going to be nice to meet people who I wouldn't have met if I didn't do a show like this".
