Corey (pictured here last month) reveals Alphy Hoffman was his second alleged sexual abuser when he was a child.
Alphy Hoffman ran the exclusive Alphy's Soda Pop Club in the 1980s, a series of parties for children under 16 that was attended by numerous young stars of the day, like Corey Feldman and his friend Corey Haim.
Feldman described his first bad experience with Hoffman.
A statement issued by the LAPD on Thursday said the occurrence Feldman reported was too old to be prosecuted.
"He came to my house to pick me up in his vehicle, and I had heard rumors that he threw the coolest parties in town and he was very connected", he told Dr. Oz.
Feldman, who is now 46, went on to describe the incident in detail, saying that he was at a private party held by Alphy Hoffman's father, Bobby Hoffman, who was a casting director at the time. "And the fact that his son was coming to pick me up himself, was also a very big thing, and my mom ushered me into the vehicle and said "go have fun"."... "And the fact that his son was coming to pick me up himself, was also a very big thing, and my mom ushered me into the vehicle and said 'go have fun, '" Feldman said.
"You know, the first few times I went it was fairly innocent". "Those parties were relatively kid-friendly but interestingly, that's where I met the guy that ended up molesting (actor Corey) Haim". They were there hanging out together at these parties. And I was like 'Man, I'm really exhausted.'... And we went to the bedroom, and I was kind of passing in and out of it, and then it was like he started doing the same things to me that John [Grissom] had done... And this is where I woke up in the middle of it and I kind of freaked out and was like 'Oh my god are they comparing notes?' Like I'm being passed back and forth. I kind of threw him off me and I ran home. In an interview published by Vice in 2012, Feldman's friend Corey Haim talked about Alphy Hoffman.
"Throughout my adult life, Alphy's continued to haunt me, as the evolution of stardom seemed to influence the core of my work as a photographer and a filmmaker", she wrote. "Alphy sucks! Point-f***ing-blank".
He added, "He's a piece of s-t! A user. He had all of us and thought he was the s-t".
It is incredibly sad it took this long for the stories of people like Feldman to be handled and viewed seriously - he's long spoken about pedophilia and sexual abuse within Hollywood. He wants to make the movie without the help of a studio so he can avoid censorship, and says that he will use the donated money to ensure the film gets distributed to theatres for wide release. So far, he's raised $236,455 for his "TRUTH Campaign".
