Gone Home: Console Edition: This first-person exploration Xbox One title will be available all month, saving you the $19.99 it usually retails for.
A post on the Xbox Wire announced the four titles that can be downloaded for free by Xbox Live Gold subscribers next month.
The Turing Test: The other Xbox One on tab is a first-person puzzle game that retails for the same amount as Gone Home, and it consists of Ava Turing, who works for the International Space Agency (ISA) as an engineer in one of Jupiter's moons, Europa. The award-winning game from 2015 puts players in an interactive experience where they go up close and personal with "keepsakes and photographs and other clues to uncover what happened". Players will be tasked with transferring power between machines and structures to continue the game's story. The Turing Test will also be available for a month, but it will start as a free title on October 16 and stay that way until November 15. Thanks to Xbox's backwards compatibility project, these Xbox 360 games will be playable in Xbox One consoles as well.
Another Xbox 360 title with backward compatibility feature, "Medal of Honor: Airborne", is included in October 2017 free games list. Rayman 3 HD is a visually striking rendition of the 3D platformer, while Medal of Honor: Airborne is a paratrooper-focused entry in the popular first-person shooter series from Electronic Arts. "Medal of Honor: Airborne" will be available from October 16 to 31.
The new lineup for October 2017 follows the Xbox Games with Gold for September 2017, which was headlined by racing simulator Forza Motorsport 5 for the Xbox One and Battlefield 1 predecessor Battlefield 3 for the Xbox 360.
The month of September is nearly over, and therefore Xbox Live Gold subscribers have another reason to look forward for the next month. Supernatural adventure Oxenfree, meanwhile, can be downloaded for free until October 15.
