A bevy of pop music stars, actors and other entertainers will pitch in for a disaster-relief concert telethon on Saturday that will be shown over an unprecedented simulcast by NBC and the two largest Spanish-language television networks, Telemundo and Univision. Other stations will be announced shortly.
Anthony will perform live from Miami's Marlins Park stadium.
Among the stars slated to appear are Christina Aguilera, Gina Rodriguez, Ryan Seacrest, Selena Gomez, Tyler Perry, Jimmy Smits, Sean Combs, Seth Green, Derek Hough, Heidi Klum, Jose Iglesias, John Leguizamo and many others.
Lopez has already pledged $1 million to Puerto Rico hurricane relief efforts last month and has been working with Anthony and Rodriguez and efforts to help the area, from which her family hails.
"One Voice: Somos Live" will provide food, shelter, medicine, power and communications to the areas affected by the recent natural disasters throughout the southern United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and other affected areas in the Caribbean.
Proceeds will benefit a half dozen aid organizations including the United Way, UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity, Feeding America, Save the Children and Unidos for Puerto Rico. Tickets for the Miami concert, with proceeds also benefiting disaster relief, are available here.
At the same time, from the NBC soundstage in Los Angeles, Demi Lovato, Maroon 5, Ricky Martin, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Wonder, Chris Martin, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Andra Day, Maxwell and Julia Michaels will also join the lineup for the broadcast event.
