We all love a bit of good news and especially when it reminds us of how famously generous the Careless Whisper star was when he was alive.
The superstar singer contacted TV chiefs after mum Lynette Gillard went on Deal or No Deal to get money to continue IVF treatment following a 13-year battle to conceive.
The grateful mother had appeared on Deal Or No Deal in 2008 to see if she could find the money for vital IVF treatment.
George's songs were even being played when Lynette gave birth to her son.
Gillard, of Greater Manchester, found out where the money came from after Michael died a year ago on Christmas day.
She stated, "I hope he's looking down smiling, knowing I have what I've always longed for".
"He believed in me and gave me hope to keep trying even when I felt it was useless".
Thanks to George's donation she had four more rounds of IVF which unfortunately all failed.
The condition was treated, but her ninth round of IVF still failed.
Not willing to give up, she and her partner Nathan Hart, 37, chose to give it one last go.
"I found out I was pregnant on the day he died", Lynette added.
Lynette told The Sun: "I'm sure when he grows up, Seth will look up to George as an inspiration".
There were countless other stories of the singer's generosity revealed following the music legend's passing.
It was reported that he once gave a stranger £25,000 after he saw her crying in a cafe over her debt, telling the waitress she can only hand over the cheque once he had left.
He also secretly worked in a homeless shelter and donated millions of pounds to Childline over the years.
George Michael was found dead by his partner Fadi Fawaz. He died of natural causes.
