Some iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus owners have reported hearing crackling noises during phone calls, the cause of which has not yet been fully determined. In any case, users will simply have to wait for Apple to issue a fix for the problem.
Earlier we heard that Apple had released the new iOS 11.1 Beta. The issue is also not present when users answer calls with headphones.
The online publication speculated that the crackling sounds may not be due to faulty iPhone 8 hardware. Just don't expect that to last forever once all of your apps are updated and your phone has had some time with the software. Similarly, the entry-level iPhone 8 Plus costs $288.08 to make compared with $270.88 or the iPhone 7 Plus.
Apple plans to release a software fix to address a crackling some iPhone 8 users report experiencing. It is not specified when the software update will be released.
Developers can provision devices for these releases at the Apple Developer Connection.
Apple has acknowledged the presence of the problem, but said that there are only a "small number" of iPhone 8 units that are affected by it.
Apple is paying 149 service charges for iPhone 8's screen exchange and $ 169 for iPhone 8 Plus's screen exchange. Although, KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo, a known Apple device watcher, thinks that such projections are quite "overdone".
