Social media has swarmed on a new memorial commemorating the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.
Diana's hair looks more like it's made from carpet than petals.
The pictures have since gone viral, provoking many more comments, including one by Welbeck Kane who said: "I live here [Chesterfield] and, let me tell you, I can feel its eyes on me, even now in my house".
The design has been produced using a variety of materials including carnations, chrysanthemums, camomile flowers, cow parsley, leaves, grass seeds, rowan berries and egg shell.
A council's "hideous" tribute to Princess Diana has been mocked as "an insult" to the late royal.
If these pics have hurt your brain, like mine, I recommend staring into this picture of the fabulous Diana in her iconic revenge dress on her way to the Serptentine Gallery for at least 20 minutes.
"All good wishes to the creators, and Chesterfield folk".
Derbyshire's local tourism body says well dressing is an ancient tradition in the county that died out last century before being revived in Chesterfield in 1991 as part of an exhibition about the region's traditions.
"All art is meant to be a talking point and that certainly seems to be the case with this year's design", it said. "But still it needs taking down it's not nice at all".
Karen Byfleet said the mural was "absolutely horrendous" and made her, "ashamed to say I come from Chesterfield".
This thing has been shared over 2,000 times in less than 24 hours, but Chesterfield Borough Council have yet to comment it. "Well done for the memorial to a wonderful lady", Emma Jayne said. "I don't know if it's the hormones but I am actually crying with laughter".
